Beginning therapy

I often think about how difficult the decision is to begin therapy.

When you are struggling it is hard to understand how speaking to a stranger could possibly help. Sometimes the thoughts and feelings are so mixed up or just don't seem make sense, how do you explain that to another person?

It's important to know that there's no right or wrong way to "do" therapy. Your thoughts and feelings are welcome in the therapy room no matter how mixed up they may seem.

The right therapist for you will help you feel seen, heard and understood and will help you unravel and make sense of how you are feeling. They understand how difficult it has been for you to get to this point of seeking help and they are there to offer the support you need.
